Jackie
A.Giuliano, Ph.D. is
a professional educator who has taught innovative, experiential
classes and workshops in Environmental
Science, Environment
and Human Health, Ecopsychology:
The Environment and Mental Health, Ecological
Feminism, Astronomy,
Community Action and Social
Responsibility, The History of Science,
Computer Ultilization, and the many aspects of science
and technology and its affects on society. He has also taught
Oral and Written Communications, Computer Science, Project
Management, and Critical Thinking and Decision-Making.
Jackie
is currently the Professor of Earth and Space Science Education
and Multimedia Designer for The
Space Foundation.
He
is available for private workshops, teacher training in-service
presentations and consultations.
Most
recently, he was the Manager of Discovery
Park, a 534 acre park with forests, wetlands, ponds and
beach habitat for the City of Seattle Parks and Recreation Department.
He created many important programs and modified many of the
park's procedures and processes, helping insure its continued
health and service to the community.

Jackie
is also the author of "Healing Our World," a weekly

He
has trained many business leaders, consulted to numerous organizations,
and instructed educators in techniques of teaching critical thinking
and learning skills. Jackie has lectured widely on these topics,
including presenting workshops at gatherings of educators such
as the International
Conference on Critical Thinking and Educational Reform, the
National Science Teachers Association
Convention, and the North
American Association for Environmental Education Conference
. During the last 20 years, he has held leading roles in
national environmental and humane campaigns, been a team leader
for space exploration missions at NASA's Jet
Propulsion Laboratory, designed public education programs,
worked for the National Park Service, and voluntered his time
as a tour guide at the Hunington
Library, Art Gallery, and Botanical Garden. He holds a Ph.D.
in Environmental Studies, developing methods for teaching students
to notice the powerful connections between the environment and
