Signs like this are found all over California. A few years ago, voters passed Proposition 65 thinking they were requiring polluters to clean up their act. Sadly, the implementation of the law was somewhat different from what people thought. All polluters are required to do is post a sign informing people that their life is in jeapardy! The sign below was found at the Hyperion Waste Water Treatment Plant in Los Angeles, sitting in the base of a potted plant - and a fake plant at that!
