The Microsoft Envisioning Center

MICROSOFT HOMEFor six years (2008 - 2014), Jackie worked with the Strategic Prototyping Team at Microsoft, giving tours of the"Microsoft Envisioning Center" in the Executive Briefing Center. In a simulated home, office, and outdoor environment, Jackie gave over 2,700 tours and discussions to C-level executives, high-level staff, and visiting dignitaries who were pursuing contracts and partnerships with Microsoft. These discussions of future trends involved possible consumer technology innovations that are likely to emerge over the next five to ten years. These discussions created an environment for innovative thinking about future possibilities for including technology in our lives. He spoke to over 50,000 guests and received critically acclaimed reviews and many accolades.

University of Washington Planetarium

PlanetariumFor the University of Washington Department of Astronomy, Jackie volunteers his time giving planetarium shows to school classes and the general public.  The planetarium has been equiped with the Microsoft Research program World Wide Telescope. Using digital projection, the audience can be taken anywhere in the known universe with real data and real photos.
