The Dig It! Learn It! Foundation, in coordination with Dig It! The Fossil Workshop provides free or reduced fee for Utah students to participate in educational field trips focusing on paleontology, geology, and prehistoric life. The foundation partners with the UEA, area school districts, universities, corporations, and individuals to fund educational programs for children and adults at their new store in the South Towne Mall, located in Sandy Utah. Programs sponsored by the foundation will include field trips to the Dig It! Workshop, traveling Museum exhibits to area schools, and monthly seminars conducted by "Golden Apple Award Winning Teachers" who speak to both educators and parents about improving teaching techniques.

Dig It! provides a creative educational opportunity for all ages. The learning center contains Jurassic Sand Quarries where patrons can dig and excavate authentic fossils and minerals, and prepare their specimen in our fossil preparation lab. The best part ...everyone gets to keep their 500-600 million year old specimen!
