Teacher Professional Development
Speedlearning fosters critical thinking skills, creates personal empowerment and self esteem, and is rich in content. The program conforms to the professional development guidelines of the Washington State Office of the Superientendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), the Oregon Department of Education, and the California Department of Education.
Speedlearning 100 supports teacher certification clock hours requirements, personal and professional growth, and meaningful opportunities for self-reflection.
Each workshop will provide new skills and knowledge that can be taken into the classroom the next day. Effective and easy-to-use handouts are provided. Student learning, student understanding, and student engagement will all be affected when the learning from the workshop is brought into the classroom. These workshops will enhance the teachers' personal growth and development, powers of self asessment and self evaluation, and flexibility in the classroom.
